The RICHMOND® - A Beauty-Mark® brand manufactured by Awntech® - This heavy duty free standing "double sided" retractable awning is as versatile, practical and sturdy as it is beautiful. Since it is free standing it may be moved to various areas and used for multiple purposes (see Ideas for Use on Awntech.com). The RICHMOND® is basically two awnings in one freestanding base. This model requires no electricity. It opens and closes easily in less than a minute, using a simple hand crank that operates smoothly and quietly. The Richmond® has an adjustable pitch and fabric tension mechanism on each side. It features lateral support arms that are positioned vertically when open and fold into the base when closed. It comes fully assembled and is easy to install. Installation is as easy as sliding awnings into the brackets on the base and securing with a bolt. The RICHMOND® has a host of other features and available options that make these awnings a great investment. Since it is free standing it may be moved to various areas and used for multiple purposes. It may be anchored to the deck or patio or easily moved and stored. See Ideas for Use. The RICHMOND® provides great coverage against the sun's harmful damage and the temperature underneath is reduced by as much as 20 degrees. Awnings can save you as much as 50% in interior energy usage, per adjacent inside area of protection (PAMA Energy Study-2012). The RICHMOND® has a heavy duty, professional grade frame that is powder coated in white. Available sizes start at 8' wide up to 24' wide with projections from 7' to 10'. Additional projections (distance projecting out from the wall) are available for width sizes 14' and above in 11.5' and 12'. Beauty-Mark® Docryl Acrylic Fabrics are woven with 100% solution dyed acrylic, anti-microbial yarns and treated with UV and water resistant coatings. Acrylic is the number one fabric of choice for outdoor weather endurance. Beauty-Mark® Docryl fabrics are available in many designer solids and stripes. The RICHMOND® is ideal for patio entertaining, as a cool-off station (with misting system), to shield pets from the sun and so much more. The RICHMOND® is a worthwhile investment that will provide years of protection and outdoor living enjoyment.
